Winter never fail turn Spring
Winter always remind me of that chilling wind, slippery roads, the snow and that black leather jacket of mine when I was abroad studying in Grey country – United Kingdom.

Winter also has a deep significant meaning to me. From a Buddhist philosophy, winter never fail to turn spring. It signify no matter what condition one is facing now, in the terms of hardship, engaging in real life and death battles, over unsurmountable obstacles and dwelling in painful personal issues,if one harness oneself and persevere through, the light at the end of the tunnel always await for you. Just as spring always follows on when winter is drawing to an end.It never change, it’s a fact of life.

With the decline in birth rate in Singapore over the decades, it is not unusual that a family consist of only one child or at most two.The role of who being the “boss” of the family took a turn as well.It used to be our dad or mom bossing us around when we were young.But now, things changed.Parents nowadays, are being “bossed” around by their kids.And they loved it.We are proud of them. We wanted the best for them. Their daily nutritional diet, their education, their toys, their ways, their car seat, their signature. “What? Signature.”
Yes. A signature where a baby boy or girl is inside the car, we wanted to tell the on coming driver behind to drive carefully as there is a baby on board.And he/she is my BOSS!

Err… where should I start? When we first conceptualized this item, we were all thinking about all things “oriental”.(The “Double Happiness” ??) Mandarin Duck which is the auspicious flying creature in the chinese tradition which symbolizes a pair of love birds.
When yang shot up with a brilliant idea, “why not use the rubber ducky?” We all agreed that this was fun and yang right away started to pencil the design on her scrap book.Thus came the rubber ducky note pad, and then the cushion cover and then the button badge and then the book mark and then … I guess these series will continue to expand into the core products of GaGatree.
